"Cali...moments"
THE MOUNTAINS
Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004 began unlike any other....
I woke up and went into the house to get some water and heard "baa, baa...."
I wondered if I was dreaming..."sheep?" "...in the backyard?"
This is what I saw...on the other side of our back fence...

Now, if that doesn't surprise you...
So I thought to myself...."it's got an unusual start....so
it seems like a good day for an adventure."
I got in my car and asked the Lord to take me somewhere special...here are some
of the sights along the way...and the final destination.

of adventures...here's where He took me.

I asked Him to take me somewhere new...so we ended up
at the Idyllwild Nature Center located off Hwy 243 up in the mountains...
I started hiking this is what I saw... |

me to...It is so awesome to have a personal relationship with God! He
does really great things - like lead me places like this!)

This is the path... |
Came to the bedrock mortars...this is where the Cahuilla
indians made bowl shaped indentations in the rock where they ground acorns.
